Hi, I’m Sue, the heart and hands behind Oh My Sweetness! My journey to becoming a luxury wedding cake designer has been anything but ordinary!

For 25 years, I proudly served in the RCMP, dedicating myself to serving and helping others. After retiring, I pursued my long-time passion for design by going back to school to become an interior decorator. Through my education and fieldwork, I honed skills that are just as crucial in cake artistry as they are in design—understanding balance, composition, and the beauty of fine details.

During COVID, I began baking for friends and family to spread joy during uncertain times, and it was then that I discovered my true calling. I fell in love with the entire process—meeting clients, hearing their visions, and bringing their most special moments to life through cake. Wedding cakes, in particular, captured my heart. There’s something magical about designing a centerpiece that symbolizes love, joy, and new beginnings.
